There will be no admission charged, nor will a silver offering be taken. Classes for colored parents and others interested will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Douglas school beginning at 7:30 o’clock. All parents of chil- dren attending this school and others interested in children are invited to attend these classes, which, like the classes conducted for white parents, will be entirely free to all. It is pointed out that Miss Gabriel’s talks are so highly in- structive that it is worth any- one’s time to attend these lIec- tures, and it is hoped that there will be a large number present at all classes. Miss Sylvia Roberts Weds James Hancock Mrs. Fetris Lowe has announced the marriage of her daughter, Miss Sylvia Roberts to James C. Hancock, U. S. Navy, which event was solemnized Wednesday eve- ning in the parsonage of Fleming Street Methodist church, the Reverend J. T. Couillette, pastor, officiating. The bride is well known in Key West where she was born and educated. Mr. Hancock is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hancock of Winter Haven, Fla., and is a naval radio operator at the local station.
