Bailey, one of the county engineers, has returned from a trip made to the mainland portion of Monroe county for the purpose of looking over the proposed route of a highway from the townsite of Poinsiana, on the west coast, to the nearest point on the Monroe county link of the Tamiami trail. Engineer Bailey, accompanied by an engineer from the office of the Tropical Florida Development Corporation in Miami, walked over the line of the proposed road and prepared specifications to be sub- mitted to the county commission- ers at the next regular meeting.
