At present Mr. Bowyer has his headquarters at Okeechobee, where the company is engaged in drainage work. The principal work that the firm has been deing in the south, he said, was drainage work in the Everglades region. Large propositions have been completed throughout Florida, many of which are well known. Hydro-electric and steam power work throughout the north and middle west were engaged in the north. Mr. Bowyer said that the com- pany planned to have a proposi- tion ready within 30 to 60 days, and would present it to the Mon- roe County Water Supply Board. A joint meeting between the board, the city council and county commissioners will be held some time this month, and these propo- sitions for water supply to Key West will be taken up then.
