Cobb Leaves For Havana Steamship Governor Cobb left this morning at 9:30 o'clock for Havana with a large number of passengers on board. Mr. Albury said that he believed’ if these trucks were operated: eor- rectly they would be sufficient for. the city’s. needs. as 20 Charles Roberts added that the prisoners in the county jail could be employed in a campaign against mosquitoes in Key West when the necessary equipment is secured. Charles Ketchum'made a‘ strong plea to the Rotarians to squarely behind the. city council and go to. its rescue, “Monty makes the mare go,”:.Mr. Ketchum |said. The city must have adequate finances before ‘work ‘can be done. “Rotarians, let us assist the city council get on a business basis,” Mr. Ketchum asked. Judge J. Vining Harris said that there are sufficient ordinances to start a mosquito campaign. There are only two question on which ithe city should decide. Chas. E. Garing, who had been spending several days’ business visit at Miami and surrounding points, returned to the city this morning over the Flagler System. Mrs. Harry C. Galey, who had been spending a visit of several weeks at St. Augustine and other points, returned to the city yes- terday over the Flagler System, Cornelius J, Lowe, who is em- ployed at Miami by the Florida East Coast Railway Company, was. an arrival in‘the city this morning over the Flagler System, and will spend several days’ visit in the Island City with relatives.
