No timber can be solid witheut the con. sent of the Department. The tetal amount of timber is about 20 mil. lion feet, and is found upon about 750 allotments. A separate proposal, in dup. licate, should be submitted upon each forty acre tract or lot, but any num. ber of proposals may be included in an envelope.
