A special meeting of the school board of School District No. One was held in the board's office at ten o'clock a. m. C. E. Burgess and J. D. Doran were pres- ent. Bids for transporting high school pupils from Cohasset to the Grand Rap- ids high school were received as follows: Art Clusieau $50.00 per month, J. B. Wil- liam $58.00 per month, Jno, Nelson $60.00 per month, Amos Forsythe $59.49 per month. Upon motion the bid of Art. ‘Clusieau was accepted. Upon motion the meeting adjourned. J. D. DORAN, ’ Clerk. The minutes of the meetings of August 26 and August 31 were read and approved. {ft was moved that the physicians of Cohasset and Grand Rapids be requested to meet with the board at its next meet- ‘ing, Monday evening, September 9, to consider the subject of medical inspec- tion in the schools. The motion was Carried. Bids for transporting the children from the Lipsett-Fitzgerald neighbor- hood to the Arbo school were reecived as follows: David Lipsett $50.00 per month, Alex Robinson $48.00 per month. The bid of Alex Robinson was upon motion, accepted. Bids for building a log school house at Dunbar Lake were reecived as fol- lows: Geo. TO IRVIN RANDALL: Default having been made, and now exists in the conditions of that certain contract dated September 2nd, 1910, by and between August Wisuri and Maria Wisuri, his wife, as vendors, parties of the first part, and Irvin Randall, as purchaser, party of the second part, in and by which contract said parties of the first. part, for and in considera- tion of the payment of One Hundred Ninety Dollars, ($190.00) to be made to them at times and in amounts speci- fied in said contract, together with the interest due at the times of such pay- ments on all then unpaid portions of said contract price at the rate of six per cent per annum, covenanted and agreed to sell, assign and set over to said second party by a proper assign- ment duly endorsed thereon, all their right, title and interest in, to and un- der that certain Swamp Land Contract dated July 8th, 1908, between the State of Minnesota and John Kappi, being num- bered 479, and covering the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Sec- tion Twenty-eight, Township Fifty-five, Range Twenty-four, in Itasca county, Minnesota, which said contract was thereafter duly assigned by said John Kappi and wife to the said August Wisuri. That in addition to his promise and agreement to make said payments of principal and interest at the times and in the manner above referred to, said Irvin Randall likewise in and by said contract promised, agreed and un- dertook to pay all taxes levied and as- sessed against said above described premises, and the interest thereafter to become due to the State of Minnesota under said Swamp Land Contract, Num- ber 479. That said Irvin Randall did not pay the installments of said purchase price a tract shall thereupon terminate, togeth- er with all rights of said Irvin Randall or anyone claiming through or under him by reason of said contract.
