Sisler, secretary of the county Agricultural Society, was present and he requested the Board to make an apropriaticn for the School and County exhibit at he Minnesota State Fair. Upon motion said matter was referred to tthe ‘County Attorney. The matter of the petition to attach ecrtain territory to the organized Town of Carpenter was taken up and by motion of Commissioner King, seconded by Commissioner Nelson, said matter was continued to the next meeting to be held July 31st, 1912. The report of the visiting Nurse was read and filed, also the communication from Attorney H. W. Stark in regard to the Lydick Road. Communication from the Attorney General’s Office in regard to the care of pauper tuberculosis cases was read and filed. Mr. Johnson, residing in township 87 range 26, came before the Board and requested an appropriation for the improvement of a highay, in the said town known as the Johnscn read. Upon motion the assistant state engineer, was requested to make an estimate for the neecssary cut and fill upon said road and make e report to the Board at the next meeting. An adjournment was then taken to 4:30 P. M. Pursuant to adjournment the again met at 1:30 P. M. All members of the present. Commissioner Shellman tendered his resignation as Chairman of the Board and requested the board to accept the same. Commissioner Nelson also re- signed as Vice-Chairman of the Board. Commissioner Nelson moved that the resignation of Commissioner Shellman be accepted. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Mullins and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Mullins then that Commissioner King be elected Chairman to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Shellman. The mo- tion was seconded by Commissioner O’Brien and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Shellman then moved tha Commissioner Nelson be elected Vice- Chairman for the unexpired term. The motion was seconded by Commissioner O’Brien and carried by unanimous: vote. The motion seconded by Commissioner Mullins and carried by the following vote: Yea:—Commissioners King, Nelson and O’Brien. Not voting: Commissioner Shellman. Commissioner Mullins moved that the sum of $150 be apropriated to the agri- cultural society to be expended in main- taining the county exhibit at the next State fair, and that the county auditor be authorized to issue his warrant upon the county revenue fund in faor of the secretary of said society for said amount. The motion was seconded by Commis- sioner Nelson and carried by unanimous vote. Upon motion of Commissioner Nei- son seconded by Commissioner Mullins the petition for the surevy of sections 7 and 8 of township 150, range 28 was rejected.
