The motion was seconded by Commissioner Mullins and carried by unanimous vote. Chairman Shellman requested Vice- Chairman Nelson to take the chair, and | then moved that the sum of $3,000, or #0 much thereof as may be necessary be appropriated and set aside from the County Road and Bridge fund to be expended in the construction of a judi- cal road as ordered and established by Judge Cant, of the District Court of St. Louis county, upon the line between St. Louis and Itasca county. The motion was seconded by Commissioner King and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Shellman moved that Commissioners Mullins and O’Brien be a committee to examine and ascer- tain the amount of damage to the lands of John H. Carlson by reason of stumps logs and brush, etc. having been piled thereon at the time of construction of County Road across his lands. The motion was seconded by Commissioner King and carried by unanimous vote. Chairman Shellman again took the jchair. Upon motion the County Surveyor was requested to furnish a list of culverts required for proposed road work. Commissioner Mullins moved that the county attorney be requested to be pre- sent at the next meeting of the board, which motion was seconded by Commis- sioner O’Brien and carried by unanimou ‘wote.
