Pursuant to adjournment the Board of County Commissioners of Itasca Coun- ty, Minn., met at the court house in the Village of Grand Rapids this 22nd day of May, 1912, at 10 o'clock A. M. All members of the Board were pres- ent. Upon motign of Commissioner King, seconded by Commissioner Nelson, the Board went into executive sessicn for about one hour, after which the Board took up regular business in open session. Commissioner King moved that ail petitions for the formation of new School districts, also all road petitions and hearing thereon, also all applica- tions for correction of assessment and abatement of taxes be continued to the next meeting. The motion was second- ed by Commissioner Mullins and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner King moved that the petition for the organization of Town- ship 148, Range 27 be continued to the next meeting. The motion was sec- ended by Commissioner Mullins and car- ried by unanimous vote. A petition was presented requesting the Board to attach unorganized Town- ships No. 62 of Ranges 23 and 24 to the organized Town of Carpenter.
