Whereas the Village Council of said village deem it expedient and neces- sary for the protection and welfare of said village that the water system now being and existing in said village be extended as follows: Commencing at the corner of Third Atvenue and Second street, thence running along said Third avenue on the southerly side thereof to the corner of Third street; thence across said Third steet to the southeast cor- ner of Block five of the plat of said village: Therefore be it resolved that said extension is hereby established and ordered built, and the Village clerk is instructed to advertise for bids for the furnishing of material and the construction of said work.
