RESOLUTION ORDERING CON- STRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS. Whereas there has been duly pre- gented to the Village council of the village of Keewatin, a petition sign- ed by the owners of One halt the frontage along which the following descrived sidewalk shall extend, for the construction of a certain side- walk running and extending along the following property, to-wit: Along the south side of Fourth avenue, from Third street to First street, and fronting on blocks six and Seven and also along the east side of Second street from Third avenue to Fourth avenue, and front ing on block Seven, all according to the record plat of said village. That said. petition-durther. asks. that said walk be constructed as follows, to-wit: Said walk to be eight feet in width. To be built of No. 2 pine surfaced on one side and two inches thick; laid on three stringers 4x4xl6ft. Planks to be either six inches or eight inches im width. Stringers to be fastened together at ends by strips 1x4x2ft. on (both sides; Each strip to have at least twelve nalls fast- ening it to the stringer, and each plank to be fastened to stringers with at least eight 20py nails. Street cros- sings to be substantially laid of No. 2 plank. Walk to be on street grade. Now ‘therefore, be it resolved by said village council; 1—That said sidewalk be and is hereby ordered constructed and built as above set forth. 2.—That the cost thereof be levi- ed and assessed agaimst the prop- erty fronting on such sidewalk, as follows hereinafter, and this ceuncil will meet at the village hall in the village of Keewatin on Tuesday the 17th day of May, 1910, at the hour of 8 o’clock jin the afternoon of said day for the purpose of hearing ob- jections to such assessment or any part thereof.
