Commissioner King moved that the eum of $50.00 be appropriated from the County Revenue Fund to the Agricultural Association of the county for the purpose of paying premiums on township display from the town- ship of Ardenhurst at the last county fair. The motion was seconded by Commissioner O’Brien and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner O’Brien moved the adoption of the following resolution: “Resolved, that the bid of the Die- bold Safe & Lock Co., for the cell work in the addition to the county jail be and the same is hereby accep- ed, and the chairman of this board and the county auditor be and the said two officers are hereby direct- ed to enter into a written contract with said Diebold Safe & Lock Co., for the construction of said cell work in accordance with their bid and ioffer and im accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the office of the county auditor. The said contract ta be completed oa ar before the first day of July, 1916. The motion was seconded by Com- missioner Trebilcock and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Trebilcock moved that all bids for heating, plumbing and electric wiring, also, for plas- tering and painting the old jail and sheriff’s residence be rejected and that the county auditor be instructed to re-advertise for bids for heating plumbing and electrical wiring. The motion was seconded by Commission- er King and carried by unanimous vote. Upon motion it was determined that Emil M. Johnson and the Die- bold Safie & Lock Co., be each re- quired to furnish a surety bond in a sum equal to the contract price in connection with their respective con- tracts. ¢ ‘Commissioner Mullins moved the adoption of the following resolution “Resolved that the public examin- er, of the state of Minnesota, be and he is hereby requested to make an examination and audit the books and accounts of the village of Keewatin missioner O’Brien and carried by unanimous vote. Commissioner Trebilcock moved that the Chairman appoint a commit- tee of this Board, and also one other delegate from each Commissioner District to represent It&sca County at the convention to be held at Bemidji on February 16th and 17th.
