Four- teen and Twenty of Ordinance No. 23, passed and adopted December 8. 1894. and providing compensation for the members .of the Voluno- oad rc Depurtment of the Village of Gracd apids. ‘The Village Council of the Village of Grand Rapids do ordain as follow: Section 1. That Sections Six and Fourteen of Ordinance Number 23, passed and adopted De mber 8, 18M, creating and organizing a Volunteer Fire Department in and for the Village of Grand Rapids and regulating the same, be and the same are hereby amended by striking therefrom the word “thirty-five” wherever it occurs therein and substituting lieu thereof the word “twenty,” thus mak- ing the membership of ‘eaceheompany of said Ne poles Fire Department not more than enty. Setcion 2.
