R. H. Bennett, a member of the grand jury, prevailed upon the court to excuse him from further service on Wednesday and he went west on the night train vis Winnipeg to his home in International Kalls. Mr. Bennett 1s a business man in the border town and in common with all citizens of the north he is much in fayor of county division and predicts that the proposition will carry by a big major- ity in November.
