Mrs. Eliza Gibson of Brainerd, mo- ther of Mrs. D. M. Gunn and Mrs. George Booth, is here on a visit and will probably spend the winter with her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Al Salter’ of Duluth visited with relatives here last Satur- day and Sunday. Mr. Salter is a brother of Mrs. W. C. Tydall and An- drew Salter, Village Recorder McAllister and J. Doran made a tnp to the Bali Club country this week in quest of mallards. We have not been advised .as to their success or failure. George T. Robinson was in town this week. He was returning to Big Falls from Minneapolis, where he had undergone an operation for the remov- al of a cancer from his nose. ‘The Enterprise store will be a busy empotium for the next sixty days, ac- cording to the announcement made by the proprietor. Prices cut to cost and below will draw the crowds. George Price is disposmg of his log- ging outfit and will not engage in ac- tive business this winter. He will put in his time at Minneapolis and enjoy a season of rest with his family. Charley Anderson soid a httle bunch of tmber the other day to the Nami- kon Lumber company for the neat lit- tle sum of $13,500. ‘The timber is lo- cated in 63-23. R. will give an oyster supper in the Lent building next Thursday begining at 5 o'clock, for ‘the purpose of raising funds to de fray the expenses incurred for the bur- jal of Mrs. John Gendron. ‘The ladies of the Catholic church will give a supper in the Miller ice cream parlors on Wednesday evening next. ‘The general public is extended a cordial invitation. 25 cents.
