Solow, who trayeled for a Supericr wholesale house through this territory for two or three years, who will be pleased to hear that he has invented a nickel-in-the-slot ma- chine that promises to bring him millions. It is .a combined phono- graph and acting machine which re- produces plays as they areseen on the Stage. The Milwaukee Wisconsin says of Mr. Solon’s invention: ‘The idea of coordinating the motion pic- tures and the sounds which natural- ly accompany such action has engaged the thought of inventors ever since the phonograph and moving picture machine were brought independently to their present degree of develop- ment. It has remained however, for an obscure inventor to complete the first machine of the sort. He is 'T. F. Solon, a former member of the Wisconsin legislature and re- cently aresident of Duluth. He is now in Chicago superinutending the manufacture of his machines, which will be placed on exhibition next week. Twenty machines have been completed at the factory of R. J. White at Chicago Ridge.” © THE LYDICKS FINALLY WIN. for Minneapolis. Mrs. Plant was 32 years of age. Mr. Plantis: at the head of the Plant Rubber company of Minneapolis. Game Warden Defeated.
