Pursuant to adjurnment, the Board of County Commissioners of Itasca county met at the Auditor's office, this25th day of July, 1806, Present, Commissioners and Henry Logan. The minutes of the last meeting being read, were, upon motion, approved. Upon motion, properly carried, contract was awarded to Hennessy & Murphy to con- nect the court house and jail with the city water mains by atwg inch pipe the entire distance, said two inch pipe to replace the’ one and a quarter inch pipe now in use, The county auditor was instructed to ad- vertise for sealed bids and plans for the con- struction of a steel arch bridge across the Thoroughfare (so-called) of Pokegama lake, The county auditor was instructed to ad- vertise for sealed bids for cutting and grad- ing flve miles of the proposed county line road, said bids to be for each separate mile of said road and to be filed on or before August 18th. 1896. The sum of $100 was appropriated for the repair of the Koochiching or Prairie River road in Town 59, Range 24, to be expended by ¥.E. Brown and Harry Hazelton.
