Hill's Horses Take 2 Hunter Events; Bogley Entry Scores By IPIEI'I' HENRY. ‘Two horses representing Mrs. George Watts Hill's stable from Durham, N. C,, captured two classes at the annual Washington Horse Show opening today at the Meadow- brook Saddle Club on the East-West Highway. Inky, & black mare ridden by Delmar Twyman, won the open working hunters over the outside course, and Balkonian took the model hunters for the National Capital trophy. Samuel Bogley, a local exhibitor, rode his Ringmaster to victory over a large fleld in the warmup jumpers’ class after three jump-offs with Big Boy, owned by the Springsbury farm of Berryville, Va., with Shirley Payne up. Other blue ribbon winners were Huntley Glen, owned by Nancy Marie Shaw of Chester Springs, Pa., and ridden by Stanley Dare, whicn and Rascal, owned by Mrs. Austin Jen- nings of Westport, Conn., and rid- den by Morris Clark, which won the limit hunters. 150 Horses Entered. One hundred and fifty prize horses representing 66 prominent stables ‘tal of $5,000 in cash and trophies.
