SOCIETY. Postmaster General Making Short Trips In New York State Minister to Sail Tomorrow for Switzerland—Other Diplomatic and Official News. THE: Postmaster General, Mr. James A. Farley, will leave New Swiss York today for Catskill, where he will dedicate a new post office. Friday he will go to Jamestown, N. Y., to attend a conference of postmasters and other postal officials. He will re- turn to New York Monday and expects to spend most of his time during the campaign in that city. The Swiss Minister, Mr. Marc Peter, is in New York prepara- tory to sailing tomorrow on the Normandie to join Mme. Peter in their home in Switzerland. The Minister and Mme. Peter will return to Washington in the early Winter. The Swedish Minister and Mme. Bostrom were among the guests at dinner Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foster Skillman of Cincinnati, who entertained at the Bar Harbor Club, Bar Harbor, Me. The Minister and Mme. Bostrom are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Langhorne. The Minister of Albania, Mr. Faik Konitza, was host at dinner Sunday evening in honor of the retiring first secretary of the Egyptian Legation. Nicolas Khalil Bey, who left Washington yes- terday for New York City. He will remain there until Wednes- day, when he will sail on the Normandie for Europe. After spend- ing a few days in London he will go to The Hague to assume his new duties as charge d'affaires of Egypt there. The Bolivian Minister, Senor Don Enrique Finot, is in New York and is staying at the Waldorf Astoria. He went to New York to see Senor Don Carlos V. Aramayo, former Bolivian Minister in London, and Senora Aramayo, who are on their way here from California to London. They will sail tomorrow on the Normandie. Senator David I. Walsh is now at his home in Clinton, Mass. It is possible that during the Summer he will go to the West Coast and visit the United States fleet and the navy yards on the entire coast. Senator Walsh is chairman of the Committee on Naval Affairs.
