NEW YORK, September 14—The New York Stock Exchange has an- nounced its formal approval of an ap: plication to list the shares of Pfeiffe: Brewing Co. of Detroit. This marks the first time since | abandonment of the exchange's un-| listed department more than a quar- ter of a century ago that the organi- | zation has offered trading facilities to a beer bréwing company. Since repeal several brewing con- cerns discussed the matter of listing | with the exchange authorities, but | the negotiations thus far have not led to any cept that of the Pfeiffer company.
