NEW YORK, June 25.—A marital estrangement of the Horace E. Dodges (he is the Detroit speedboat manu- facturer and heir to a motor fortune) cruised into court here and three actions of wife against husband for $250,000 were on the docket today. Disclosure of the complaints, said by Mrs. Dodge's counsel to involve a separation agreement of August 4, 1933, under which she was to receive $50,000 a year, came with a Supreme Court order permitting service on the actions three days after expiration of the legal limit. The detailed nature of the actions was- shielded, except for the petition through counsel to abrogate the time limit, which stated one suit' was to | “recover a substantial sum of money on several causes of action.” The second action was “based on provisions of a separation agreement, whereby she was to receive $50,000 | per year,” and the third was “to re- cover a large sum of money and for a declaratory judgment with respect to certain rights of Mrs. Dodge against her husband, arising out of their marital relationship, and various deal- | ings between them and others.” | Dodge sailed for Europe Saturday on the Normandie, to visit his mother, Mrs. Hugh Dillman, at her English estate. His attorneys would not com- ment beyond the statement they await service of the- complaints, INGRAM IS RELIEVED BY COMDR. BASTEDO World War Hero in Charge of Naval Intelligence Public Relations.
