Because of the uncertainty of the administration’s legislative program growing out of the recent Supreme Court, decision on N. R. A, the Plan- ning and Co-ordinating Committee of the petroleum industry has deferred action on refention or abandonment of the petroleum code until June 14 it was announced yesterday by J. D. Collett, chairman. The committee has held several meeltings recently, but decided to await governmental action before tak- ing final steps (o set up its own vol- untaty code A resolution was adopted Monday. that the industry be urged to con- tinue to observe hours and wages of practice rules and principles of the code. as a volantary matter, pending further announcement of this com- miteee, and that the various regional, State and other subcommiliees cot- tnue ready to serve.” Copies of the resolution were mailed to members of the industry by Irwin Lamp, secretary.
