BLANTONREMOVAL Resolution on Appropria- tions Committeeman Meets Debate. A resolution demanding removal of Representative Thomas L. Elanton of Texas from the District Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Commit- tee was passed by the Northeast Busi- ness Men's Association after more than three hours of heated debate last night. The association deadlocked in a tie vote, which was broken when the president, Dr. James J. Greeves, cast his ballot for the resolution. Blanton was characterized by James P.
