Mrs. Ann Datterer, 35, of 1523 New Hampshire avenue was killed yesterday afternoon and her eompanion seriously fnjured when their automobile was in- wolved in a triple collision on the Wash- {ngton-Baltimore Boulevard at Hale- thorpe, near Baltimore. Mrs. Datterer died at St. Agnes’ Hos- pital, Baltimore, shortly after the acci- dent of a fractured skull and internal injuries. Her companion, Miss Mar- garet C. Bush, 28, of 2413 Minnesota avenue southeast was taken to St. Agnes’ suffering from a possible frac- ture of the pelvis, cuts and bruises. Miss Bush. a medical technician at Gallinger Hospital, was driving when| WORLD PROBLEM SEEN IN JEWS’ PERSECUTION Rabbi Wise Tells Czechs All Mem- bers of Race Should Refuse to Handle German Goods. By the Associated Press. PRAHA, Czechoslovakia, August 15.— Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, honorary presi- dent of the American Jewish Congress, speaking at a mass meeting here last night, declared that the treatment of Jews in Germany created an interna- tional problem. He said German Jews always had been loyal to their country and had worked and fought for Germany for centuries. Referring to the Jewish boy- cott of Germany, he asserted no re- spectable Jew should buy or sell Ger- man goods as long as Germany regards Jews as an inferior race.
