Willis, retired minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church and a Civil War veteran, died Monday at GTON, Mount Alto Hospital. He was years 1d. Enlisting in Company G of the 1st New York Dnlocnl at 16, Mr. Willis wounded three engagements. After his duclurwe he engaged in farming until he entered the Virginia Conference of the Methodist Church in 1889. He later was transferred to the Wilmington Conference, where he served until his retirement in 1913, having charges there and on the Del-Mar-Va Peninsula. Upon leaving the ministry, Dr. willis muved to Cambrid Md., where he made his home until coming here in 1930.
