Stone, one of the fou rs and for 26 years general menager of the Associated Press, died today aiter a long illness. She | was 85 vears old. Mrs. Stone’s only caughter, Mrs. Mal- colm Goodridge of New York City, was | with her when she died at her res dence, at 419 East Fifty-seventh street. | Her death came on the seventeenth i anniversary of the death of her elder ‘<on Herbert Stuart Stone, who lost his life when the Lusitania was torpedoed !
