DAVID JAYNE HILL RITES TOMORROW Body of Former Ambassador to Germany to Be Buried in Williamsport, Pa. Private funeral services for Dr. David Jayne Hill, former Ambassador to Germany, who died yesterday at his home, 1745 Rhode Island avenue, will be held at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning at the home. The body will be taken to Williamsport. Pa., where it will be buried at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. A group of nast oresidents of the District of Columbia Society, Sons of | the American Revolution, of which Dr. | Hill was a past president, will attend the Washington rites. They were named Jate yesterday at a special meeting, at which the society passed resolu- tions of regret. They include John Paul Earnest, Albert D. Spangler, Selden M. Ely, Justice J. A. VanOrsdel, Dr. Mark P, Finley, Dr. George Tully Vaughan, Kenneth S. Wales, Col. | Alonzo Gray, and Robert C. John Berryman, 44, a former resi- dent of Washington, died Tuesday in Hines Hospital, Chicago. The body will | be brought to Washington for burial in | Arlington National Cemetery. Born in Fredericksburg, Va. Berry- man came to Washington as young man and established a motor cycle sales and service agency in the 1000 block of Ninth street. This he conducted until 1923, when he went to Texas, entering a similar field there. He was a first| g lieutenant in the Quartermaster Cm‘pfi\ during the World War. Howell, 28, who died suddenly yesterday following & heart attack, will be buried in Lubbock, The body was to be sent from here late today. Mrs. Howell was the wife of Leander Howell, agricultural economist of the Department of Agriculture. She died at their home, 1620 Puiter street. They were married six months ago in Texas and came to Wasnington. Poor health, however, forced Mrs. Howell to return to Texas for about three months.
