Lovell Quincy Rousseau, & resident of this city for more than 30 years, who died Saturday at his home, 4816 Iowa avenue, was buried in Rock Creek at the Hysong funeral parlors. Mr. Rousseau was a nephew of Maj. Gen. Lovell H. Rousseau, Louisville, Rousseau and Sarah Owens, both of Louisville. He had retired from busi- ness several years before his death, but retained his contacts with Kentuckians in Washington, and was well known among them. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Staiar Rousseau. BANKHEAD CALLS 100 REBUTTAL WITNESSES All of Heflin's Charges Will Be Taken Up and Denied Individ- ually, He Says. By the Associated Press. BIRMINGHAM, Ala., January 12.— Senator John H, Bankhead summoned more than 100 witnesses today to testify in reply to former Senator Thomas J. Heflin's charges on fraud and corrup- tion in Alabama’s 1930 election. Each charge made by Heflin's 200 witnesses at the contest hearing here will be taken up and individual denials entered, Bankhead announced. He said testimony of his witnesses would be confined to rebuttal of the charges made by those of Heflin. Porter of Harrisburg, Pa., and was a resident of that city until her marriage in 1891. She was a granddaughter of Gov. David Rittenhouse Porter of Pennsylvania and great-granddaughter of Maj. Gen. An- drew Porter, a member of Gen. Wash- ington's staff. The late Gen. Horace Porter, former Ambassador to Prance, was her uncle. She was well known in Washington service circles, as Comdr. Poyer was at- tached here at different times, and was on active duty at the Navy Depart- ment from his retirement until he be- came Governor of American Samoa in 1915.
