Hawail and the United States West Coast are to be “attacked” in Navy training operations. The baftle force, commanded by Ad- miral Richard H. Leigh, will begin an assault on Hawail February 6 against the joint defenses of Army and Navy forces now stationed there. It will then steam back across the Pacific and, with a convoy of troop ships, attempt to seize foothold on the West Coast in the face of scouting force attacks. In carrying out the opening phases of the problem, the battle force will lealve Hawall about March 8.
