EVANGELISM WORK WILL BE STUDIED IChurch Federation Directs Three-Day Conference to Start Tomorrow. A conference on evangelism will be | held in varlous Protestant churches of Washington, beginning tomorrow and continuing three days, under the direc- | tion of the Evangelistic Committee of | the Washington Federation of Churched | of which Dr. Carl C. Rasmussen, pastor | of the Luther Place Memorial Church, | is chairman. New Yorkers to Speak. The detalled program is as follows: Sunday sermons: Dr. Charles 8. Dex- weiler of New York, morning, First Baptist Church; Baptist: Dr. F. L. Fagley of New York, | morning, Mount Pleasant Congrega- | tional; night, First Congregational (un jon service all Congregational | churches in the city); Dr. George B. Dean of Philadelphia morning, Calvary | Methodist; night, Foundry Metktodis Dr. J. H. Rowland of Richmond, Vi morning, Epworth Methodist Eplscnpll South; night, Francis Asbury Methodist Episcopal South; Dr. Arthur H. Limouze | of New York, morning, Chevy Chase Presbyterian; night, Eastern Presby- terian. These men are either the secretaries | of evangelism in their respective de- nominations or secretaries on the Board of Home Missions. At the ministers’ meeting of each of these denominations Monday morning the invited guest from that communion will speak particularly for pastors deal- ing with the theme which is commen to all of these services. Any other minis- ters other than pastors will be welcome to these meetings. Union Luncheon Planned. At 12:45 o'clock Monday a union uncheon will be held in Calvary Bap- tist Church for all pastors and denomi- national executives in this area.
