Leland stated in the letter, ! however, that Ford, by the terms of the alleged agreement, still owes the stock- holders the $6.000,000. The suit was started by Mr. Leland and his son Wilfred in 1927, three years after the Ford Co. acquired the prop- |erty and four years after the orig- inal Lincoln Co. had gone into re- ceivership. ~Starting in_the Oakland States Supreme Court, being turned back eachy time, the last ‘Mly, 1931. o | AT A | California Legion for Modification.
