Black, Noted Economist and Critic of :Its" Policies, Seen Slated for Post. Changes in some of the palicies of the Federal Fiirm Board were indicated here today when it was learned from reliable sources that -John Black, na- tionally known agricultural economist of Harvard University, is being con- sidered for appolntment s chief economist by the board. It is known that Joseph R. Davis, the present research director, wants to go back to his post at Leland Stanford University, so the board now has the opportunity to do some reorganizing.
