Saks—Third Floor NING IINJURY PROVES FATAL TO WASHINGTON WOMAN Mrs. Helen Lawder Succumbs to Complications Resulting From Leg*Hurt. Mrs. Helen Lawder, 39 years old, died at her home, 3220 Northampton street, last night, as the result of an injury sustained some time ago, ac- cording to physiclans. Mrs. Lawder had suffered a leg injury, and a blood clot is thought to have caused her death. She had also been suffering from heart trouble. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, and interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. The rescue squad and Casualty Hos- pital physicians were called to the home, but were unable to save the woman, who was pronounced dead by Dr. Sidney C. Cousins, 3921 Ingomar street. Besides her husband, Lawder, vice president of R. E. Milor & Co., builders, she is survived by two sons, 18 and 6 years old, and a daugh- ter, 16 years old. Java Volcano Again Active.
