Schaeffer, 50 years old, who died in Sibley Hospital Thursday, were con- ducted in Hines' funeral home this afternoon. Interment was in Arling- ton National Cemetery. Mrs. Schaeffer, the wife of Capt. Charles E. Schaeffer, was active in sev- eral organizations. She was a member of Esther Chapter, No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star; the Ladles’ Auxiliary of Columbia Commandery, Knights Tem- plar, and of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. M. N. Eddy of Pennsyl- van three sisters, Mrs. C. J. Gott- schall of Jersey Shore, Pa.; Mrs. A, D. Bartolett of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. J. B.
