The | firm was founded shortly after the Civil War, on Seventh street near D street. KFrom there it was removed to Eleventh street and Pennsylvania avenue, where it remained for many years until its removal to Eckington, its present site. It has long had the contract for printing the National Geo- graphic Magazine.
