L0 ‘THT_EVENING w&g__ymm\wmv M._0. TUESDAY. DECEMBER 27, 1007 A few years ago, it became evi- dent that Washington wanted downtown Hahn stores. In the Autzumn of 1925 we opened four new shops at one time. We decided, then and there, to close some of our older stores as soon as the new ones became self-supporting. And now we are ready! Going to concen- trate on 4 or 5 big stores—and within the next few weeks we shall close up two of our . older shops—414 9th N.W. and 233 Pa. Ave. S.E. The stocks of these two stores must be sold out completely and at once. Such a program of wholesale price reduction naturally in- volves our other stores, too.
