Edward S, Schermerhorn, 66 years old, president and general manager of the Little Art Shop, 472 Louisiana avenue, died In Garfield Hospltal yes- terday following an operation. Born in New York State, Mr. Schermerhorn came to Washington 25 years ago to accept a position in the Indian Office and later served as a member of the Board of Pension Appeals. About seven years ago he resigned from the Government and established the Little Art Shop. He was assisted in business there by his two sons. Mr. Schermerhorn was a member of Acacia Lodge, F. A. A. M, and of the Congr jional Country Club.
