NEW YORK, October 8.—An indict-| ment for murder was returned yester- day against Gerald Dwyer, 30 years old, newspaper man, charged with shooting Joseph Ruffner, 35, also a mewspaper man, after an argument over Dwyer's alleged attentions to Mrs. Ruffner.
