Sales, jr., 23 years old, Princeton athlete, was killed here yesterday when his automobile crashed into a light post at a street corner. . Mrs. Francis Henry Harrington, widow of Brig. Gen. F. H. Harring- ton, U. S. M. C., retired, dled Tues- day at the Gordon Hotel, where she had been residing. Mrs. Harrington {is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Newt H. Hall, wife of Col. N. H. Hall of the Marine Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Mrs. A. H. McCormick of Washing- ton. Funeral services were conducted this morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mat- thew's Church, where a requiem mass was sung. Interment was private. Gen. Harrington was a native ‘Washingtonian. He entered the mili- tary service in 1864 and served 40 years. He died here in 1906, two years after his discharge from ac- tive duty. American Artist Dead in London.
