Quebec, Newspaper cireles of Canada August 28— lost a valued member vesterdav through ! the death of Walter S. Marson. 67 for 30 vears advertising manager o the Montreal Star. His death re- sulted from a disease contracted more than a vear ago. In March he went to Bermuda, upon his return his condition be- came worse und 1 short time nzo he relinquished all Lusiness activities. He was born in Ha'ifax Citadel in 1859, the son of Capt. Walter Samuel Marson meat was ordered back to England two years later. In 1876 at the age of 17, voung Marson returned to Canada and in but | 1880 entered the service of the Mont- | real Star.
