NEW YORK, July 2.—A little bet- ter inquiry for high-grade bonds ap- peared today in the trading, both on the exchange and over the counter, representing probably the so-called July reinvestment demand. Buyers have been holding off in the hope of lower prices, but expectations on this score not being realized they have evidently decided that nothing is to be gained by waiting any longer. | Atchison general ds displayed more actlvity than in a long time past, sell- ing for the most part a fraction below 92, compared with the year's high of 93.
