¢ BOCA RATON’S PROGRAM 9 Anticipated for completion and the re- ception of guests early in 1926— § The Cloister—a beautiful small hotel of ‘Mizneresque'* design, situated on Lake Boca Raton. Under construction without cessation until completed. In process of planning by Addison Mizner, to stand on ocean front, in preparation for contract. § The Ritz-Carlton—to,be one of the most complete of Ritz_cstablishments, costing about $6.000.000 and scheduled to open about January 1. 1927. 9 Ritz-Carlton and Cloister Golf Courses now under construction by Willam S. Flynn, of Ardmore. Pa., and expected to be ready for play early in 1926 9 Rivaling in exotic charm the boulevards and embankments of the watering places of the South of France and equal in natural beauty to Rio de Janeiro's famous Bota fogo. BOCA RATON is now building El Camino Real, a really “'Royal Highway' bisecting the resort for several miles back from the ocean front by a boulevard of 160-foot width and extending north with a width of 210 feet. It will cross the Florida East Coast Canal on a bascule bridge of Venetian arch design by Addison Mizner. Flowers, plants and ornamental shrubbery will ornament its plazas and borders and stately palms will make it a verdant areade. € An outstanding feature of BOCA RATON development will be its Ritz-Carlton Resi- dence Section. It will be perpetually re- stricted against any form of commercial enterprise. It will have a private roadway eighty feet in width. flower bordered and arcaded with palms, leading to the private Beche de Boca. a stone’s throw distant and affording immediate access to the entire district lying about the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The minimum cost of any structure in the Ritz-Carlton Residence Section will be $20.000. exclusive of garage, and all plans and designs must be approved by Addison Mizner. . « Approximately_two miles of the most beautiful Ocean Front lying between Palm Beach and Miami will be improved as a Bathing Beach and to serve the purposes of a highly restricted Ocean Promenade. The developers of BOCA RATON will in stall complete Water Supply and Sanitation Systems. Over five miles qf sewer are now being laid and a sewage disposal plant is in progress. Water Distribution is now under contract for construction. Service for Elec- tric Light and Power and for Telephone and Telegraph is anticipated early in 1926. 9 BOCA RATON is to be a resort city of Paved Streets. Some of the principal boule- vards will be of 90-foot width, intersecting streets carrying generous traffic will be of 80-foot width. No streets in BOCA RATON will be less than 60-foot width. Storm conduits are to be provided capable of carrying off the heaviest of downpours without difficulty. ¥ In order to preserve to BOCA RATON home owners and to insure the greatest beauty of LANDSCAPE EFFECT for the city, all lots in BOCA RATON have been cleared of undesirable growth, but wherever possible all shade and ornamental growth has been left standing. 9 BOCA RATON is to have two ADMIN- ISTRATION BUILDINGS. required by the immensity of the undertaking and for the convenience of the property owners of this unusually beautiful social and munici- pal enterprise. One of these buildings is now completed. § The above Program of work actually in hand in BOCA RATON'S construction sched- ule does not comprise the whole of BOCA RATON'S PROGRAM. Other major projects are in preparation.
