Trenum, 109 vears old, will at- tend the opening August 9 of the new interstate bridge between Western- port and Pledmont, W. Va.. built to replace the structure carried away by the 1924 flood. Trenum recalls this as the fourth bridge to be built over the Potomac at thisgpoint. The first was a log structure. He helped to build that bridge. Trenum was born in Rich- mond, Va. He was kidnaped when 9 years old and taken up the Shenan- doah Valley by a man named Martin Neff. He fought at Gettysburg. He is still able to work, looking after his corn field, taking care of a pen of pigs and doing chores about the house, although his mth are almost gone and his sight is falling. J., August 4 (@).— After three days of investigation, po- lice today generally accepted the theory that Mrs. Frederick Wickham, whose body was found on a lonely West Orange road Friday morning, died from head injuries received when she fell agajnst the curb in front of Charles Capawanna's Club. Capawanna is held without bail on a homicide charge, and six men and one woman have been taken into cus- tody as material witnesses.
