Mall at the Social Service House during the last 24 hours brought 108 responses to the laster appeal of the Associated Charities and Citizens’ Relief Association, with total receipts of $1,604.12. The total number of contributing members is now 3,927. A check for $365 was recelved from a new member of the Dollar-a-Day Club, bringing the total to seven members since the club was organized a short time ago. The total in hand at noon today toward the $55,000 needed was $37,237.61, leaving a bal- ance still to be raised of $17,762.39 With three days remaining Easter Sunday, the committee in charge of the appeal expects that this balance will be materially reduced by the end of the campaign.
