Special music was ren- dered by the Clarendon Male Quartet. The reading of the results of the six- month inter-B. Y. P. U. contest, which ends next month, disclosed that the First Baptist B. ¥. P.'U. was In the lead only a few points, followed by, Grace agd Clarendon. The main attraction was a demonstration of how to dramatize a program. The title was “Standing By,” arranged by Thomas R. Wilson. The tollowing members of the First Church B..Y. P. The vestry of Transfiguration Epis- copal Parish has purchased the prop- erty adjolning the church on Gallatin street from Edward E. Norwood. The vestry sold the rectory at 1510 Buchanan street, which was at a dis- tance from the church, and purchased the Norwood residence and property adjoining the church as the future rectory.
