Kranklin Harry Acton, a sailor con- fined to the brig on an _assault charge at Hampton Roads, brought to Washington identified by Mrs. Annie 702 R street southwest who she claims brutally as her with a flatiron and attempted to rob her August 17 last in_the basement of her home. Ernest Acton, brother of the sailor, was lodged in the District jail re- cently, charged with being an accom- plice in the crime.
