Dr. Herbert Scott Smith, rector of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. Palms with pink peonies spring flowers were used church. The bride, who was glven in mar- riage by.her father, wore a gown of ivory white moleskin satin, made with straight bodice and low walst line marked by shirripg. The bodice was made with tiny cap sleeves of ap- plique lace and was finished with a fichu of the lace which was caught in front by a cluster of orange blossoms. The full skirt was trimmed with double flounces of the lace across the front falling from a cascade of the lace in the back. A train of satin fell from the shoulders and her veil was of applique lace. Mrs. Dwight Kiggins Terry was matron of honor for her sistér, and the bridesmaids were Miss Doris Vir- ginia Monroe and Miss Virginia Wing- flold. Mrs. Terry was in ecru chan- tilly lace made over chiffon in rain- bow hues, shading from pale pink through blue and orchid and into light green. The gown was fash- joned after that of the bride, the bridesmaids wearing similar gowns differing from the matron of honor in the color of the large satin bow, which with handmade French flowers, was the trimming on the endants’ dresses. Mrs. Terry carried del- phinfum and roses and the malds' bouquets were of lavendar sweet peas and sprays of delphinium. Mr. William R. Rhoades of Los An- geles was best man for Mr. Murray, and the ushers were Mr. D. Randall Buckingham, cousin of the bride: Mr. James T. RBerryman, Midshipman Henry Pevton Howard, U. S. N., and Mr. Dwight Kiggins Terr rs.
