Perhaps the fact that a scarf either in vivid or contrasting colors may complete- ly change an entire costume—or make a suit “look like what it ain’t” is the reason that scarfs come first to mind in accessories. The cne sketched is a cocoa Crepe de Chine scarf, three yards long, in- cluding the fringe, which is 18 inches on either end.. It has an attractive de- sign and is just the thing to wear these days when a coat is too warm, and one must have some small wrap. Then there are the less expensive ribbon scarfs, quite as charming, in roman stripes and fancy stripes, moon dots, combinations of black and silver, plain blue with a Scotch border and other lovely contrasts..
