The young women who live in the Evangeline Booth Hotel, a self- supporting Institution of the Army, have collected more than $1,400. They originally set out to get $200. C., the Thrifton Improvement League ap- pointed a committee to draw up plans for the new “government.” The real government of the village—and they take pride in that term ‘“village” too—is by a supervisor of Arlington county.
