NAVAL POST-GRADUATE SCHOOL REMOVAL URGED Rear Admiral Wilson Favors Transfer From Annapolis to University of Chicago. The advisability of moving the post-graduate naval school from An- napolis, Md, to some other place, preferably the University of Chicago, |has been suggested.to the Navy De- partment by Rear Admiral H. B. Wil- son, superintendent of the Naval Acddemy. Notwithstanding its pre- vious disapproval of the-proposition, the Navy Department has appointed a special board to again consider the subject. Mrs. Virginia WiHtiams, thirty-four years old, who was severely burned Saturday afternoon ut her home, Floris, Va., three miles from Hern- don, died at Emergency Hospital yes- terday. Coroner Nevitt game a certificate of accidental death, MOSES BRADSHAW DIES. Former Postal Official Succumbs at Douglas, Ariz. Word has Leen received hage of the death of Moses Bradshaw of the Dis- trict bar in Douglas, Ariz., Saturday. Interment will be in Douglas to- morrow. Mr. Bradshaw was the son of the late Henry %and Mrs. Charlotte Brad- shaw and was born in Woodbury, N. J. He came to this city, with his parents, when a child, i the year 1860. He was a graduate of the E_lnerson Institute, a graduate of the Georgetown University Law School, and besides being a member of the District bar he was a member of the Colorado bar. He served as chief of the stamp division, Post Office Department, dur- ing President Arthur's administration. In the year 1885 he moved to Aspen, Col., und became associated with the Jaw firm of Downing, Franklin & ‘Thomas. He was postmaster of Aspen for eight years. e was widely known in Masonic circles in this city, having been asseciated with Centennial Lodge of Masons and was a charter member of that lodge. _He is survived by a granddaughter, siving in Colorado, and a brother, Capt. Mr. Visscher was born in Owings- ville, Ky.. in 1842 and was a grad- uate of ‘the Universily of Louisville, recelving the degree of LL. He was admitted to the bar in 1868, but never practiced law. He was engaged In work for muny years and wrote more than 1,000 poems that were pub- lished in various papers and maga- zines throughout the country.
